Hello Fellow dentists,
I am practicing at a dental clinic which is a renowned dental chain.
Few weeks back a patient treatment went wrong not due to my mistake as I already highlighted the possibility of things can go wrong !! I continued with patient treatment later patient complained to higher management and threatened to go through legal route. Now my management is asking me to pay a part of compensation which will be paid to patient. It’s not a small amount ! My question is -
Am I legally liable to pay this ? I am Working as a full time employee under a corporate setup.
Can management ask me to pay ? Or I am being forced here? What are the options guys ? They have already withheld my this month salary ??
