I’ve had this dark spot on my lips show up a few months ago. It covers the top of my bottom lip to the bottom of my lip. It looks like a square. It’s a similar color to the outline of my lips, but slightly darker. I asked my primary care doctor and she said it was probably just the cold weather. But now that it’s May, it doesn’t seem likely. It’s not raised off my skin and doesn’t peel like chapped lips. I have no clue what it is. It’s not bothering me in any other way other than appearance. I’m thinking it could be a new birthmark?
