Class selection for CS first year

I'm planning to take:

  • CS 1331 – Intro to Object-Oriented Programming
  • MATH 1552 – Integral Calculus
  • MATH 1554 – Linear Algebra
  • ENGL 1102 – English Composition II
  • CS 1000/1100 – Freshman Seminar

APs I’ve already taken:
Calc AB (5), CSA (5), Physics 1 (5), Physics 2 (5), Statistics (5), Macro (5), Micro (5), Euro History (5), Environmental Science (5), World History (5), English Lang (4), CSP (4), Human Geography (4).

I’m mainly looking for professor recommendations + schedule advice. Preferably afternoon classes if possible, but professor quality matters most. I’d rather take a slightly easier/more organized professor than tank my GPA first semester since the workload already seems pretty heavy. Any professors/sections I should aim for or avoid? Also plz give me the CRNs if you don't mind. I'm trying to beat out most freshmen on registering.

Thx for all the help! I'll treat u guys to a cookie each if I see you in Gatech. Promise

Waterloo or Gatech for CS

I got accepted to both schools, and I am trying to decide where to go to.

I am going to undergrad. I have PR in Canada, so the Waterloo tuition is quite good for me. I come from a decent family so the 4 years/5 years of college is not a major financial concern. Its just I would have more spending money and get to keep and use my waterloo co-op money on myself. I saw some crazy waterloo grad comp+ salaries be like 250k usd a year on average, but that's a quite skewed statistic and I don't quite know the realistic income for a waterloo honors cs grad.

I quite like the working environment where my peers are smart and can push me. I think I'd like to land a high paying job in big tech or quant out of undergrad.

So please weight in Gatech or Waterloo for CS
