so...i am a first year student of history at Hansraj College & right now, i am in a bit of a conundrum. So, my dad REALLY wants me to sit for the UPSC exam & become an IAS officer & tbh I wanna be a Diplomat (IFS officer) too! but MBA also feels really fancy to me. & that's not it, i also feel like Research is where i truly belong. I have already published a paper in my college's journal & presented papers & won awards in college research conferences. But then again, phd scholars don't earn much & it's not a very rewarding career, especially in India. Given all that, WHAT SHOULD I DO!!?? Please help me out.
