So guys I am studying pol science hons and heavy theory subject as it is.... I can't find it in me to read books, like how the h*ll do you guys process the information, relate it and write answers. Also, my semester exams are beginning in 9 days and I am worried sick since my writing is small so no matter how I write it only amounts to about 5 sides max for a 18 mark question(which i know ain't even the bare min. 😭😭) but i just don't have the confidence that i will pass the exams after writing something shit to just fill the pages..... also I get last minute memory loss so ya till the time I get to the last question that I am attempting I am actually just chewing my brains out.

PS: Sorry for the random rant guys but I am actually out of my wits and just trying to survive. I am just a girl!!

I am a first year student at Venky and my 3rd DSC paper has been withheld because I failed to maintain 50% overall attendance. College has issued a notice saying students with attendance grievances can meet the attendance committee. Is there any way by which they can allow me to give the exam?

(I am short by just 2 percent)

I’m 22 (gonna turn 23 in a month), doing my master’s in quantum physics from IISc, currently in Delhi and moving to Zurich soon. I've done internships in Zurich and MPQ and have been accepted for my Master's Thesis in both MPQ and Zurich.

Outside academics, I train MMA, my current record is 9-2, football (have been in U-17 and U-19 camps, but got injured in both, toh kabhi Nationals nahi khela hai), bike rides. I watch UFC, I'm also a Marvel (Loki is objectively the best character), and I play guitar and sing a bit too. I can also cook pretty much anything, which ig is a great skill for me cos I've done internships ABROAD. I do also model thoda sa, have been doin that for almost 2 years now.... Then ummm.... I know finance, I am VERY good at leading stuff.... Be it projects, teams, clubs or whatever.

I don’t drink or smoke, I'm NOT a narcissist. I've just mentioned my career trajectory and a little here and there, my hobbies and all.... I am a fun person to be with, that's smt I'm VERY sure of.

I’m from DU north campus college, 3rd year, and today I got caught in an exam with unfair means.

For context, I thought of a really stupid but ingenious method where I would take a supplementary sheet and write formulas/answers on it before the next exam, and then carry it into the exam hall pretending it was a normal supplementary sheet.

The thing is, I originally got that supplementary sheet during one of my 5th semester exams. I didn’t use it in that exam, so after the exam I accidentally took it home with me thinking it wouldn’t really cause an issue. My intention at that time genuinely wasn’t cheating, and honestly I didn’t even know we technically aren’t supposed to take them home.

Yesterday while looking for notes/material for today’s exam (which was my first exam of this semester), I found that supplementary sheet and then got the idea of using it like this.

I only though of using it as backup for weak topics, and Today I had actually prepared a decent amount and had almost completed my paper normally, but I got greedy near the end of the exam and thought since I had already put so much effort into preparing the sheet, I should quickly write the remaining prepared answers from it on extra sheets and submit everything.

That’s when the invigilator noticed and caught me.

One reason I panicked this semester was because my datesheet became completely messed up. Last year my father passed away right before my 4th semester exams, because of which I was absent in 3 papers, so this semester I had to give:

- 5 regular semester exams

- plus 3 back papers from 4th semester

So basically 8 exams together. DU’s datesheet ended up giving me 5 exams within 6 days including back papers, and I panicked badly because of the overload.

I’m not trying to justify cheating or defend myself. I know I messed up badly. I’m just explaining the situation because my head is completely fucked right now and I genuinely don’t know what happens next.

After they caught me:

- they took my admit card

- took the unfair means supplementary sheet

- attached it with my answer sheets

- gave me another answer sheet and told me to write whatever I knew/remembered

- made me sign on the supplementary sheet i was caught with

- filled some university/UFM-related form with details

- took photos of me sitting with the material

I asked for the question paper while i was given the extra answer sheet to attemlt and they later sent it there. Then I wrote answers from memory for around 20 minutes on the new answer sheet, and while i was still writing, they took my sheet saying Time's up.

After that they attached:

- original answer sheet

- second answer sheet

- unfair means sheet

- admit card

etc.

One teacher said something like “ab UFM aayega to exams cancel honge” but I couldn’t properly understand whether he meant this paper or all papers.

Some people are saying:

- if they were processing full UFM they would have made me write a statement/application

- giving a second answer sheet means maybe only current paper may get cancelled

- others are saying because I was actively using written material, whole semester may get cancelled

I also have another exam on 21st but haven’t studied for it at all. I was already considering postponing that paper to later semesters even before this incident.

So my questions are:

1. Does this sound like a full UFM case is being processed?

2. In DU, if someone is caught actively using written material, is it usually one paper cancelled or whole semester?

3. Does being allowed to write again on a second answer sheet indicate anything?

4. Should I continue preparing for remaining exams or is there a high chance all current exams get cancelled anyway?

5. Has anyone here experienced a similar DU UFM situation recently?

Please serious answers only. I already know I messed up badly.

Hey, so I'm a commerce student who did not have Maths/Applied Maths in class 12th. My subject combination was Accountancy, Business, Economics, English, Hindi and Physical Education. In 12th I scored 90.6% in best 5 (hindi excluded).

I have attempted CUET-UG and 3 of my exams namely Accountancy, English and Business has went very smooth. Confidently attempted questions of 230-240 marks in all 3. Though, I'm not so confident about Economics and GAT, which I'm yet to give exam for.

Do you think I'll be able to get into SRCC? 😭

What other colleges should I target? I want to go to the North Campus, SRCC preferred.

So I am currently in my 2nd year and it is about to end, I am doing a BAP course and want to do hons in 4th year since it's necessary in my field for masters in future.

What is the criteria or eligibility for doing the 4th year ? Is it cpga based ? If so to sare year ki mila ke or just 3rd year ? 🥀🙏🏻 Bata do pls

I'm not sure how many people would agree with me but exams should be conducted online because students can literally die at 42-45 degrees during heatwaves.

I'm so fucked up this sem. I feel like I've covered the whole syllabus but now that I'm js a week away I feel like idk SHIT. like I've been so anxious about it lately. The sem was shit. The exams are scaring me. And mind you I'm in 4th sem. This hasn't happened in last three sems or any other exams.

I js have a very weird and unsettling feeling this sem. I can't sleep at night. But when I try to study and use this time I can't focus and feel like crap. The next day I wake up late feel like shit about wasting my day. This is way too toxic. And I can't help it.

Du has made their checking strict. Today our college invigilator requested students to hand their phones and chits as the flying squad might arrive. And it's not worth it to cheat since it's your last year. Lo and behold the flying squad caught a girl and she hid her phone inside of her jeans but the female invigilator checked properly and found it. They even checked the hands of students to see any formulas written. They caught a few students. Not worth the risk.

the concept of having marks for attendance is honest to god so shit like having a minimum attendance to sit for exams is valid but why the fuck is my cgpa dependent on my regularity?? like it makes signing up for internships and co curriculars so so tough cus they dont even make any concessions for this shit like bhai agar marks rakhne bhi it should be like a maximum of 3 percentage of my TOTAL ia not 5% of every subject's ia thats just fucking insane u have students coming in not to learn but to just sit aimlessly in class for these marks bhai matlab crazy shit i hate absolutely despise du curriculum it is so backward no wonder we cant compete with international unis
