Few months ago, my brother randomly suggested that we should do something that is different and is interesting for our family gathering the next week. Instead of just the usual movie night with snacks like during most of our gatherings, my brother wanted to try playing outdoor games. After he said that, we all laughed a little (not that we’re mocking him) but because no one in our family was athletic. Then my cousin said something about inflatable volleyball courts, which to be honest, made me curious.

That same night after our meeting on our family gathering, I began searching online on my laptop. I first searched what inflatable volleyball courts look like and loved how they look. I was now really serious about buying it for our family gathering, so I searched more about it on google, reading reviews from other people. I remember when my cousin mentioned about inflatable volleyball courts, my cousin also said we should try searching it on online shopping sites like Amazon and Alibaba, so I did, and I saw so many options. I started comparing the different options that I saw.

Some of it were big floating courts used for huge events and resorts, while others were smaller and is what exactly we needed for our family gathering. I also learned that the heavy-duty PVC material is better if you wanted something that won’t easily break and would last long.

Of course, we ordered the small one since it was affordable and fits perfectly in our backyard. It was also very easy to set up and was not time consuming. We had so much fun playing volleyball during our gathering. We were thinking of doing that again in our next family gathering later on.

I was helping my niece to set up a tiny, basic home lab to do her project. She only needed glassware and a few chemicals at most to get started. I thought this would be an easy building block, armed with a shopping list of things to pick up, and yet!

The real crunch came when we were to discuss solvents. My niece was kinda blithe towards the idea of something cheap while I was squabbling to make it into something safe and dependable. Solvents have their dangers after all, and her safety is a priority.

And sadly, most of the local suppliers we checked with were lacking stock, or way too expensive. While surfing the whole we noticed some listings on Alibaba. We were very wary of it of course. Lab materials on the internet? Especially far away?

But we kept looking thru different sellers and glancing at their feedback. My niece even messaged some of them directly. Unexpectedly, some sellers got back to us reasonably fast and explained things coherently. We haven’t placed an order yet, but it’s reassuring a bit to know there are more alternatives out there. It made the hunt less like nightmare.

It was quite an exhausting week, and honestly I am just glad I could pitch in. I am looking forward to seeing her mini lab once it’s operational. You have suggestions to share, I’m all ears. Thanks.

Last month, I went to a dental clinic for a checkup. I really thought I was doing just fine by brushing my teeth everyday. The dentist took a look at my teeth and immediately asked me if I floss my teeth daily. I honestly answered with I only use a string floss sometimes when I feel like flossing.

After my checkup, the dentist told me that there are actually many flossing tools recommended by dentists that I could use and not just the normal flossing with a string. I came home to my house and I was very curious about the different flossing tools that the dentist told me back in the dental clinic. So I searched online on Google and saw some terms like dental picks, interdental brush set, and water flosser cordless oral irrigator. I did not know that there were so many choices for something I thought was very simple.

I told myself that I should be trying to improve my dental routine instead of just relying only on brushing my teeth. I searched dental flossing tools products on Google and I found some products on shopping websites like Amazon, Alibaba, and many more websites. That search helped me see the different brands and their prices along with their reviews from other people that used the product.

After learning about the different flossing tools, I understand now that floss picks are for quick use, interdental brushes are used for the small spaces between the teeth, and water flossers feel more comfortable to use for my daily cleaning. It’s just a very small change, but it made me become more consistent with cleaning in between my teeth everyday.
