Hello. I was prescribed nystantin tablets and Terbinafine hydrochloride cream for my candida glabrata. Does anyone know what they are and if they’re an accurate treatment? My microbiology test says E-Test M.I.C.

Candida glabrata

Fluconazole M.I.C. 12 ug/ml

Interpretation:Susceptible,increased exposure

hi. i'm just looking for some advice or someone who's gone through something similar. i have had 8 utis in the span of 6 months as well as thrush. my candida was mistreated with flucanzole when i've just found out it was actually candida glabrata. i was wondering if this could be an explanation for my utis too? my symptoms are so bad I've had to go to the er 5 times. i get this burning pain in my lower abdomen that is so strong to make me faint or unable to stand. i cant describe the pain as anything other than someone holding a lighter to my urinary tract. i also get a pain similar to an electric shock in my vagina, general soreness in my vagina and extreme discomfort during intercourse. my gp kept making me feel crazy and only agreed to set up a specialist appointment after they kept me overnight in the er. has anyone gone through this?
