Hi everyone,
I checked the PSA website this morning to see my latest submission grades, and I was pretty shocked to see that this PIKACHU/GREY FELT HAT POKEMON X VAN GOGH came back as a PSA 4. I honestly have no idea what killed the grade.
I actually submitted this through a HobbyX. Before sending it out, they did an initial pre-grading assessment and told me it looked like a solid 9. That pre-grade was the whole reason I decided to pay the fees and send it in.
However, when I looked at the official PSA scans today, I noticed some weird, unexplained damage and marks that were definitely not pointed out to me during the initial assessment.
Could anyone help me take a look? Did the middleman completely miss a hidden crease or micro-dent, or is it possible the card was damaged during transit or handling? Any insights would be hugely appreciated!
