Betty Broderick

I’ve always been familiar with this case, but for some reason in the last month I’ve been revisiting it. I’ve read all the books, watched the trials, etc.
I’m still always shocked at the number of supporters Betty has. I’ve seen Dan called a narcissist repeatedly. What Dan did was unforgivable. However, he would’ve taken good care of Betty financially if she would’ve stopped the harassment. He obviously felt guilt over the situation, and she would’ve lived a great life and probably even found someone new.
What she put her children through and all the stuff she did so that Dan would “realize what he was doing to his family” was borderline child abuse imo.
If I was Linda I would’ve hit the road after the cake incident.
Do you think Dan was a narcissist?
RIP Betty.

I wanna share this in the hopes that it will save someone some money. When I was 30, I went to get sclerotherapy done on spider veins. Purely cosmetic. There weren’t many options in my area so I had to go to a legit medical facility. I had no leg issues, no swelling, no varicose veins, no restless legs. Just wanted the spider veins gone. They said that I needed an ultrasound, we went ahead with it. They then said they couldn’t do sclerotherapy on the spider veins until they treated a deeper vein with laser. My insurance was paying so I said what the heck. I had the vein treated and then was able to get sclerotherapy. It is now 10 years later. I have a few spider veins again and went to this same place. Still, no leg issues. No visible varicose veins, only spider veins. They say they have to do another ultrasound just to check. They do it, and then they tell me that many of my veins are 7mm and I need at least 3 more veins treated with a laser. I ask if I can just do the cosmetic sclerotherapy since I’m having no issue. They said they won’t do it until I have the larger veins treated. However-BCBS has a new policy that states they’ll only cover one vein treatment per leg, per lifetime. So now they want me to pay out of pocket to the tune of 7k!!!
I was semi-shocked that I had all these issues considering I had no symptoms and I’ve always been a very active person. I decided to get a second opinion now that there are more options in my area. The second place found absolutely no issues. They did cosmetic sclerotherapy and it went great.
I’m just sharing to make people aware. The first place wasn’t one of those showy places with commercials and billboards. It was a nice medical facility. If you don’t have symptoms-get the second opinion.
