A month ago, we bought a second hand Subaru Forester. Sent the car to Motor Image for servicing and it revealed engine issues, coolant mixing into oil. This is on top of a bloated top host and the spare tank full of oil. Motor Image quoted up to $10k in repairs. My question is, are there any reliable Subaru workshops that can do the job? And, if anyone who had the same experience before.
***more context: We have informed our dealer about this since we just bought this car. But the point of contention around lemon law is always wear and tear. Since this is a second hand car, that might come into play. We sent the car for STA evaluation before we bought but the STA evaluation did not pick this issue up. In fact, we got a B grade. Maybe just our bad luck. ***
