Worst first date and it’s my fault
Hi everyone,
Wanting to post here for someone to tell me and reassure me it isn’t as bad as it is, but it actually is.
I went on a first date with this guy and the most mortifying thing happened. I only had 3 wines over 4 hours but I’d had nothing to eat all day and didn’t have dinner. I didn’t feel it coming until the end but after receiving a 4th wine (I didn’t drink it) I felt my mouth getting dry and that immediate feeling of throwing up. I tried to stop it many times but eventually I couldn’t prevent the feeling anymore and vomited in the restaurant. I tried to catch it but it was bad. We went outside and waited for an uber but I had vomit all over me. For some reason he still kissed me but then after arriving home he got a cleaning fee from the uber and I am completely mortified. I NEVER get that drunk as to when I throw up and it had to happen on a first date. He said he still wants to see me but idk if it’s out of politeness or what because I can barely face him after what I did. I think I also had some dodgy food and was extremely nervous to meet him so maybe that contributed but I just don’t know what to do and feel my reputation is ruined. I never thought I’d be the girl vomiting on the first date what the hell
