I currently have a mystery snail and a few shrimp. My tank was cycled and had a decent amount of algae and biofilm in it before introducing any critters. I decided to leave it since the snail and shrimp can eat it, but my mystery snail has pooped so much since the. It hasn’t affected my water parameters (testing it daily to monitor) but the poop and excess algae doesn’t look good. Should I try to do a water change and try to remove some of the waste? Or should I just leave it and continue to monitor water quality since it hasn’t affected it?

My long term goal is to have a self sustaining tank, so I’m fine with leaving it and have them do their thing. It just doesn’t look as nice 😪

I’m looking into getting my MSN in NI. I’ve seen some posts/comments stating it’s hard to find a preceptor. Any advice on how to find an adequate preceptor or if it’s difficult? Is it like the traditional in person nursing clinicals, or is it more work on a project together?

For the practicum courses, what’s typically done in those courses and what is there to expect? Are they strictly in person sessions? Can it be done virtually?
