Did Jet knew about the fact that the Makoto Jewel are fragments of a bigger crystal?

He doesn't know Is repairing the Crystal because the Curetto Agency of London keep it a secret from him, but did he know about the bigger crystal?

I guess he knew: preventing the Phantom Thiefs to get the Makoto Jewel is the main quest of the Agency.

But of he knew why didn't he tell that to the girls before? I rewatched episode 2 and he said that the Makoto Jewels have the power of truth and that are very rare.

That's it.

Edit: I forgot ti mention that in episode 15 he said to the girls that searching clues at the lake was useless since the Curetto Agency of London already searched there. So he knew that something has happaned at the specific location.
