Honestly, I’m not mad about it. Happy actually. My mom has had the shit end of the stick for YEARS because we always had to appease my MIL to keep her from having a tantrum. So I can do something nice with her for once. But my husband spoke to his mom the other day and she told him if we wanted to come we had to contact his brother. I thought it was weird no one had reached out by now. So clearly, we just weren’t told. She also “forgot” my husband’s birthday this year. Claiming her medical problems were the cause. God forbid we don’t throw a parade for her birthday or Mother’s Day though. I’m not a mom so the day is not for me anyway. But I feel like this is all being done deliberately now to bring attention that they’re mad at us for some reason. I’m tired of the games…

We are only going Saturday. We’re driving down from Cleveland and either driving back the same night or sharing a hotel with someone we know already staying. We missed out on the general parking pass. I understand there is a shuttle service pass being sold. I’m not 100% sure I want do this yet as it’s the first year and who knows how well it will go. Any tips for parking on streets or yards in the area that offer? How far is the walk typically? Walking back at the end is my biggest concern lol.
