Our Leesa memory foam mattress started out great, but after 11 years, it's no surprise that it's no longer doing it for us. My wife is a side/stomach sleeper and has been waking up with back pain, and I sleep on my right side and, in addition to neck and back pain, I've been waking up multiple times per night with a completely numb right arm.
Our daughter has a twin innerspring Beautyrest from Costco that she loves so much it makes us a little jealous, so we've been thinking of going back to an innerspring mattress. I'm willing to splurge a bit if it means a decade of good sleep (up to $4,000ish), and have been trying to do research in this sub plus on review sites - there's so much confusing, contradictory, and suspect info out there!
I looked into Aireloom - some folks say they're well-made and luxurious, some say they start to sag really quickly and don't have good edge support.
I looked into Beautyrest Black/World Class - some say they're excellent, some say they aren't supportive and sleep hot.
I looked at what I generally consider to be reputable sites (Wirecutter, Strategist, Wired, etc.), and they all recommend the exact same things, like Helix, Saatva, Nectar...maybe those really are the best, but the frequency with which I see the same types of reviews for the same mattresses makes me suspect those reviews might not be as unbiased as they claim to be, especially given the number of not-so-great reviews in this sub.
I'd love to hear people's recommendations, either for mattresses, or for actually reputable resources where I could check out trustworthy reviews.
Thank you!
