Pretty proud of this, I'd never done charring with the hot air gun like this. I feel like it came out pretty nice and I wish I could claim the light streak at the waterline is intentional that's just the perks/quirks of getting a 50 year-old reclaimed maple cutting board and using it for a sign.
Between the design, tracing, burning, conditioning, and staining it took about 20 hours. I'm giving it to him tomorrow when I get my hair cut.
