How do you do it with no G-sync and advanced Optimus?

I am contemplating buying a 2026 Raider, but I am a little worried about the lack of G-sync and advanced Optimus in such a pricy package. My main concern is stutter/tear while playing BF6 and Arc Raiders.

2026 MSI Raider Max 16 VS 2026 Alienware 16 Area-51

I am looking at buying one of these two laptops with a 5080. I currently have an Alienware, and I have enjoyed the build quality and Dell support. However, I am getting tired of Dell jacking up the prices.

I am hung up on the Raider not having G-Sync. Is it that big of a deal? Also, I am nervous of getting an OLED panel due to burn in, and kind of prefer the LED option on the Alienware. According to reviews, MSI has pretty good build quality, but terrible customer support. However, the new raider is very powerful, offers simple upgradability, and is at a more attractable price.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. These are both expensive to me, and I do not want to make a mistake.

Budget: $3300
Country: USA
Use Case: (Gaming — Arc Raiders, Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 4, Ghost of Tsushima/Work
Preferred Specs: (Optional: 5070ti/5080, 32GB Ram)
Notes: I’d drop to a 5070ti for the right price.

Hello everyone, I am looking to pick up a 16 area-51 that comes with a 5070Ti. However, it only comes with a 1 TB SSD. Can anyone explain the process to me on adding another SSD? Is it as easy as unscrewing the back panel and plugging it in? Or do I have to format the drive, and how exactly would I do that? I think I have a 1 TB Samsung 980 laying around somewhere.
