In case anyone was wondering why Destiny kept repeating to Hutch that Hutch's reservations about how to achieve our political goals were irrelevant
The Republicans, working hand in hand with their nakedly partisan allies on the SCOTUS, have now entrenched single-party rule by reading the Voting Rights Act to mean exactly the opposite of what it says and to achieve an outcome that is exactly the opposite of what it was meant to achieve. This is why it was frustrating that during the "blackpill" discourse between Hutch and DGG a few months ago, Hutch simply wasn't understanding that the means to achieve your aims within the system are basically immaterial now. It's a knife fight for survival of the entire liberal framework of this country, wringing your hands about how above board the means are is stupid, particularly when it doesn't seem like the voters really give a fuck about it
