It's late, I'm tired and a little sappy. Past few years have been garbage for a lot of us, especially the gay, trans, queer, black or brown, and pretty much any other minority demographic. But this subreddit, Pat and Woolie's streams, Matt's videos (sometimes guest starring [RESPECTFULLY REDACTED]) have been a place that's consistently felt good to exist in, especially since I started beihg a bit more active here.
We don't all agree on everything, even on some of the fundamentals, and I think some of you are kinda nuts, but there has always been an unspoken lack of tolerance for bigotry here. An assumption that racial/gender/sexual demographics will never prevent anyone from being a part of this community, and that anyone who tries to gatekeep on those grounds can fuck all the way off.
There have been days that were made by conversations here, and nights where reading your collective stupid bullshit has kept me going, genuinely. And while I don't agree with the mods on everything, I have never felt unsafe with the way the do things here. I think its led to a community that I'm happy to be a part of.
So here's to r/twobestfriendsplay. You guys are alright.
