I’ve been looking for LEDs now to help illuminate and bring my gaming room to life so I went to my local Best Buy and they didn’t have the hue gradient strip lights available that I was looking for so I told them the type and that it was for a 65” oled tv and they said they would be able to order it and ship it to my house so I filled out their paperwork and paid but that’s where the problem starts.

After like 45 minutes (I was at home by then and I was with my grandmother when I bought them) I took a look at the receipt and it said they were for 24-27” pc screens. Now, usually this wouldn’t be a big deal but because I’m going through college and am living with my parents to minimize on cost, they’ll still have the final say and if they find out that the item I bought was the wrong fit (if it still isn’t compatible) then I’ll have a situation on my hands.

Any suggestions on how I go about this? The item is set to arrive in a minimum of 5 days
