Idiot move here, long story short… a toothbrush head from an electric toothbrush head got stuck in our sink ubend. I’ve managed to get that out but that involved separating the ubend to push the head back up the pipe.

When trying to reseal the ubend, it hasn’t worked properly (likely needs a new connector) so some water has escaped when testing the closed system and leaked onto what I thought was a towel… turns out there is a minor gap where a small amount of water has got through into the ceiling space above the kitchen and leaked through one of the eight light fixtures. There is no sign of significant dampness and I’ve removed bulb from the fixture…

So I guess the question is… am I okay to have my electrics on?
