I’ve been stepping back from dating lately and honestly… it feels pretty good.I deleted the apps a few weeks ago and instead of feeling anxious or lonely, I actually feel calmer.
I’m focusing on the gym, seeing friends, working on my money, and just enjoying my own company without the constant pressure of “I need to find someone.
I still want a relationship one day, but right now I’m enjoying the peace that comes with not constantly chasing matches, overthinking messages, or feeling rejected.
Is anyone else in this headspace? Stepping back from the apps and dating scene and actually feeling better for it? How long did it last for you, and did you eventually jump back in? Would love to hear real experiences
