I purchased a new home in March of 2025. Lennar home builder used an AC unit that had been in warehouse since January 2024. Last month we have had the same HVAC company come out and work on this unit because it does not cool in the home. We have had 5 visits in a month

April 2026 - May 4 2026
1st visit the tech said we had a bad thermostat. Replaced.
This solved the issue for 3-4 days

2nd visit the tech replaced the float switch. Replaced
This fixes it for a few days

3rd visit the tech “found low voltage and rewired”
Works for a day or two

4th visit the tech rewired the “switches” because it was done incorrectly.
Same result next day

5th and final visit the tech said that it is now the fan. We are placing an order to get it delivered. If the fan does not work we are moving to replace the entire unit.

Does anyone have advice? I feel like they don’t know. Is it all trial and error? I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.
