Hey guys, some of you may know me or have used my other maps, guides or event timeline, and now I wanna share the fully interactive Riven Tides map with over a 1000 markers that me, my friends and some of you have added! (if you submitted markers and are reading this - you are the goat!)

Some prominent features:

  • 1000+ markers
  • 50+ moss,fertilizer,agave locations
  • 30+ ship model locations
  • 50+ confirmed beachcombing locations
  • Marker submission and in-game screenshots
  • Community marker voting without registration (seen/not seen)
  • Search (type the name of the marker you need - get suggestions for every letter you type)
  • Custom routes
  • Built-in Riven Tides event timeline at the top (that is also live on all my other maps since forever)
  • Performance (custom map engine built from scratch)

Hey guys, I wrote up a full breakdown of the Riven Tides update and wanted to share some speculative takes:

ARC Turbine might be an aerial boss fight. The Crash Mat and Powered Descender dropping in the same update as a floating enemy is too deliberate. But! The "Descender" only helps you get down, and the snap hook can't reach that high. So how do we get up there? Launch platforms on the map? Snap hook upgrade? Embark has also talked about players going inside large ARCs before, and the Turbine looks big enough for a 3-man squad (like the harvester). Every other large ARC has had unique loot for crafting new weapons — no new weapons were announced for this... shadow drop?

Avian Alarm is the first Raider Project that finally matters. To hell with the High Gain Antenna and Weather Monitoring Station! This one unlocks the Dockmaster's Detector — which is the only way to access the entire Beachcombing loot system. First time a project gates a real gameplay mechanic.
