Been thinking a lot about how people actually track their Nuzlocke runs and what makes a tracking tool genuinely useful vs. just a glorified notes app.
I'm curious what this community actually uses and wishes existed. A few specific questions:
- How do you track your runs right now?
Pen and paper? Notes app? Spreadsheet? A specific website or app? Or do you just remember everything and hope for the best?
- What's the one feature you actually use every run?
For me it's marking encounters dead vs. boxed — I always forget which ones I boxed because of dupes clause vs. just released.
- What's a feature you'd love but never see implemented well?
Some ideas I've been thinking about:- Auto type-weakness analysis for your current team- Level cap tracking per gym leader- Encounter route maps with what you can/can't catch- Death log with screenshots/notes- Hardcore mode with auto-enforcement of rules
- Casual or hardcore Nuzlocke?
Curious if rules tracking matters more for hardcore runners (set mode, level caps, no items in battle, etc.) or if casual runners just want the basics.
- Mobile or desktop?
Are you tracking on your phone while playing, or on a separate computer?
Genuinely curious — feel free to drop opinions even if they contradict each other. The "perfect" tracker probably doesn't exist for everyone, but I'd love to hear what you actually want.
