Brief summary:
Ordered Xfinity WiFi and received the hardware. Turns out my coax cable wasn’t working so they wanted to charge me $100+ to activate. I returned the hardware to a local store and was assured I would not be charged. Once a charge did appear I contacted customer support and was assured it would be promptly refunded. was never refunded so I contacted them again and was told refund would be coming shortly. Eventually I disputed the charge and reversed the payment.
This morning I received an email from an Xfinity debt collector going after twice the initial charge. I tried to contact customer service but am blocked from speaking to an agent because my account was deactivated.
I found some emails of comcast cable employees and have reached out to them for help. Will let you all know how it goes and will comment with the list of email addresses.
