At the same time, Germany has a solid tech ecosystem, and I feel like being closer to bigger companies and better engineering environments could push my career in ways that might not be possible here.
But then I keep seeing people say that if you’re already making 300K+ in Pakistan, it’s not worth leaving. And I can’t fully ignore that either. Still, I find myself getting frustrated with things here. The economy, the cost of basic living, and how far things like owning a house or even a decent car feel. It makes me wonder if staying is actually the safer choice, or just the more familiar one.
I think a lot of this also comes from where I started. Growing up, there were always things I couldn’t afford, and I’ve kind of been chasing that sense of stability ever since. Now that I finally have some financial cushion, the idea of resetting everything in a new country feels both exciting and a bit unsettling.
