Hello! I suspect this question might get me put on a list somewhere, but here goes!
My question is: If a person is at least partially skinned (like a forearm or a section of their back) and survives it, what would the scars look like?
Now before you go calling the police, this is not what it sounds like! I write fiction and am trying to do some character work. I could try Google Images, or maybe Bing considering the content, but I don’t know if I want that in my search history or my brain and I don’t even know if I’d trust the results anyways.
I would like the take of a surgeon or similar who has seen this in real life, if there is such a someone. What did the scars look like? How did they age in a year or five or ten? Did they just look like burns, or more like those old polio vaccine scars, or something else?
