Drove 2 hours for an interview only to be told to leave

Drove 2 hours for an interview on Friday and the first thing he said to me when I arrived was "I'll be honest we already picked someone for this position but thanks for coming in!"

Apparently they had picked this person back on Monday and just never bothered to email me.

I'm still pissed off. This was my first interview in 100+ applications and I basically got told to fuck off at the door.

Recently, I found out that Catholics do not believe in the existence of Jesus's siblings because they believe Mary remained a virgin her entire life.

But why is that important? What would it change if Mary and Joseph went on to have multiple children together after Jesus? Is her status as a perpetual virgin integral to how Catholics view her?

It's stated multiple times throughout the show that Tommy, John, Arthur, and a few others fought at the battle of Verdun. But these characters all served in the British army and Verdun was fought between the French and the Germans.

At first I thought that maybe some British soldiers were there as reinforcements and just served as French soldiers, but I couldn't find any reliable source to confirm that. From what I can tell, there were no British troops at Verdun. So how could Tommy and his brothers have served there?

It seems like kind of a major historical oversight. Am I just missing something?
