Looking for some advice. I have an M2 Macbook Air, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD. SSD is only a fifth full. Safari is incredibly slow, clicking on links takes a few seconds each time to load the pages, and fullscreening Youtube takes a good five seconds for the animation to process.
It's not my WiFi as my other half has exactly the same Macbook and is connected to the same Wifi, and she doesn't have the same issue. We both have Adguard and Honey installed as browser extensions, and I have Auto HD/FPS for YouTube installed. Both on the same MacOS version. The only difference is she uses Chrome and I much prefer and use Safari.
I've tried completely resetting the Macbook twice, to no avail. No programs are open in the background bar the native sticky notes app. The only difference is the addon for the browser and different browsers, but I would think Safari would be faster as it is native.
Does anyone have any tips to resolve this please?
