S&B vs K&N on a 2024 F-250 6.8

Looking at cold air intakes for my 2024 F-250 6.8 gas truck and trying to decide between the S&B and the K&N. Right now I’m leaning toward an oiled filter setup.

For those who have actually run them:
- Which did you choose and why?
- Any real difference in sound, throttle response, or MPG?
- Any issues with dust, maintenance, or check engine lights?
- How often are you cleaning/re-oiling them?
- If you switched from dry to oiled (or vice versa), why?

Truck is used for daily driving, towing a camper, and highway trips, so I want something that sounds good without being obnoxious on long drives.

3 cams:
Front
Bed (above 3rd brake light)
Rear bumper

I can see the entire bed while driving + a clean rear view for parking and hitching. The bed cam alone makes it worth it.
Install:
OBD power (no fuse tapping)

Wires run through trim, fully hidden

Rear cam tucked in bumper

Bed cam mounted above 3rd brake light, wired through factory opening and sealed

Clean install, no visible wires, survived a full car wash.
512GB card = set it and forget it.
Highly recommend!

3.73 gears with a locking rear diff (important to me), sliding rear window, and factory tint. Added front tint and blacked out the rear window. Love the rubber floors and the middle front seat for when my dog comes along.

Only thing I didn’t like from the factory was the tires. Steelies are fine, but the tires had to go.

Upgrades: Toyos, Bilsteins, front air dam delete, custom removable canoe/kayak rack, blacked out the chrome tailpipe, and a Knaack box sprayed with bedliner and bolted down. Also added a Rough Country tailgate assist and rubber bed mat. Planning to install the Wolfbox TriPro this week.

Pulls my 37 ft camper without breaking a sweat. Still deciding on drop-in vs spray-in liner.

Really impressed with the simplicity and performance of the 6.8L.
