So I just started my part-time job, and I really like it. It’s been about a week and a half and I still have some training to complete. I’m also a community college student and my schedule changes every semester. Unfortunately the class I absolutely need for my university transfer status to be accepted is Monday through Thursday 2-6 pm. I just asked my boss if I could do 6 hour shifts those days and I told her I was readily willing to take Fridays and weekends if she needed me. Currently I’m doing 2 6 hrs and 2 8 hrs per week. So 28 hrs. But the summer schedule puts me to 24. Am I gonna be fired?

Also I’m just scared that it’s only been a week and a half and I’m already talking to her about schedule changes.
