So bought my first xj in 2000, 1996 XJ Plum Crazy PURPLE. My daughter called it Barney (the dinosaur). Had it for about 6 months and painted it camouflage, lifted and wheeled it for 15 yrs in Arizona and Kentucky. Sold it and regretted it ever since.

Well bought another one and brought her home today. And guess what?

It's a 1999 Extreme Purple XJ Limited. 1 owner, 85000 miles, 3% rust lol, extremely well taken care of. Her husband worked for jeep service manager, she bought it and jeep has done everything to it, including treating the complete underneath every 2 yrs. This thing is mint for the year.

My question is I want to swap the front bumper for a winch bumper (no issue there) but the rear bumper... I'd like to get Smittybuilt and they go under the rear tail light and the side behind tire is still there. This xj looks like the rear bumper is one piece all the way to the tires. Anyone have any suggestions? Pics are first xj after a few mods (Barney) then what it turned into (CamoXJ) and now Barney 2.0 (so the grandkids can enjoy it).
