Seller sent me a damaged item, tried to get me to cancel the return request after he accepted it and finally ended up giving me a return label. Problem is the post office is a 30 min drive and I don't drive. He said no to giving me a label from a closer post office. What do I do now?
Seller has been super rude to me thus far, I explained to him how I can't really return the item. The drive is 30 min away that would be an expensive uber there and back he basically just said:
"hi sorry no. drop it off next time youre in the area or grab a ride. thanks"
He sent me a new and sealed switch game and it came with some damage... he's been difficult with me ever since. Is it time to escalate with eBay? I don't know what else to do. I even told him to send me less because he gave me some cheap type of return label (carrier is chitchat) and I asked him to switch the carrier and return label canadapost. I barely use ebay and this is my first purchase here so idk wtf to do.
