Heard this on RealJazz today. First time I'd heard the collaboration. Of course it isn't available as an MP3 download from Amazon. This is incredible to me.

How did I not know about this album? Dropped in 92. Some of the most gorgeous music I'd ever heard. Of course, not available in digital format from Amazon. This is incredible music to my ears.

I’m running a Cricut Explore 5 and trying to cut long, narrow strips.

  • Material: 13" wide vinyl (no mat)
  • Design: 24" long x about 1.5" wide

The issue is the vinyl does not track perfectly straight over that length. It is very slight, but over 24" it turns into a visible curve when applied, which ruins the final result.

I can start it perfectly straight, but it still drifts during the cut.

Before I spend time building a jig or guide system, I want to ask:

Has anyone actually solved long cut drift on an Explore running matless? Looking for something proven and repeatable.

  • Does a jig or guide help?
  • Any roller positioning tricks?
  • Does material type matter?
  • Or is this just a limitation of the machine?

This is for production use, so consistency matters.

Appreciate any real-world input.
