My playgroup is transitioning to budget magic, which has been incredible so far, and I'm just looking to get some thoughts/ideas on a deck.

The agreed-on pod rules are:

• Any commander
• All cards in the 99 must be under $1 using Card Kingdom near-mint prices (they’re closest to Australian pricing and are an easy standard to use on Moxfield)
• Total deck value (not including commander) under $50.
• Decks should be bracket 2-ish. Nothing too over-the-top. Someone should be able to sit down with a Starter Commander Pre-con and not get pub stomped.

I love dogshit commanders, so I’ve decided to build [[Tobias, Doomed Conqueror]]. My goal in my head was to get creatures with death triggers out, play Tobias, cast a board wipe, then get a bunch of value off their deaths and have a board of zombies for next turn.

At the moment, the deck is fun to play but feels like it needs a little something to sharpen it up a bit.
