Give me all the tips especially what not to do while transitioning out of the crib

My daughter is 3.5. she has slept independently since about 4mos and through the night since then. Starting 6 mos she sleeps in her own room. she is incredibly active and sleeps hard. just now starting to drop the afternoon nap, but 30 mins does her wonders when we get it. over the last 12 mos at bedtime she’ll delay, want songs, stories, in the end it’s “don’t go”. we kiss, hug, and promise to sit outside on the couch in the family room — but say we can’t stay there because where would we sit? she is still in the crib. but friends, it’s time. she can totally get out, just hasn’t done it. the other day she asked why she is in the crib, since at school she is in a cot she can get in and out of. my plan is to transition her during the 3 week break at school. what should we not do (and do) to make it a smooth transition and still have the great sleeper we have. I would say she’s had maybe 3-5 middle of the night wakings per year of her life. separately— I am aching to cosleep with her.. but probably want to do that only after we transition her fully. I don’t want to have to cosleep to get her to sleep, or spend hours laying there until she is asleep. advice, please!

hi — anyone have experience with LS in a young girl? our docs are 50% LS, 50% contact dermatitis. They are trying to rule it out, but I am bracing for the other shoe to fall. If you or your kid have this, what’s it been like to manage, go through? thanks! did it get better with puberty?
