Giving TL benefit of the doubt part 2

Sooo, I wrote about our new TL the other day. Essentially saying that he might seem to be having a power trip but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt since hes new to front end.

Welp. He lost all respect I may have had for him today. When I first got to work my other TL asked me to go to lawn and garden in an hour. I made a face and hesitatantly said ok. He asked if I was OK. And I said yeah, just that id never been over there before. But that im sure it wasnt too hard to figure out. The new TL was next to him when all this was said..

Later when I got back from my break I was trying to figure out where they needed me. New TL asked if I knew money services. I said I dont. And as he walked away under his breath I hear him say "what do you know what to do?" Like... excuse me?? I told my coworker who convinced me to tell our other TL.

He pretty much said that was unacceptable of NTL and that he'll be talking to him.

After my lunch my other coworker told me our coach is going to be talking to him cus it's the 5th time this week hes been complained about

So we just got a new closing TL for front end. Im trying to give him the benefit of the doubt cus hes still learning. But hes getting on everyones last nerve. He moved from stock 1. And can be generally nice. But theres just some instances that have really stuck out to me.

His first night we were short staffed and he was helping me on register to get lines down. I had been on the register non stop for 3 and a half hours (hadn't had time for my first break). I really had to pee and I also needed change in my til. I switched on my light and one of the guys from customer service came over. When CS isn't super busy they'll come over if a TL isn't available. They took over for me to go to the bathroom and when I got back. The new TL asked what my coworker was doing. When he answered that he was letting me go pee the TL said he needs to be staying at his station. Mind you it was 10 already so customer service was closed. He'd just been doing claims..

The next night I was opening self checkouts for overnights before clocking out. We always open 1-6. When I started doing so he comes over. Says my name very aggressively. I say yes? And hes asks what im doing. I say opening the self checkouts for overnight? And hes like why are you opening this one though (was on 5). I reply saying we open 1-6. And he just goes. Hmm really? And walks away... like.. what??

And then the last thing. My coworker wasnt doing to well mentally because it was the anniversary of her grandfather's death. It had really affected her. And she let the tls know that she wouldn't be her best. The new TL then tells her shes going to man grocery self checkout by herself. And she says that on any other day she would. But today was just not a good day. He tells her to deal with it and walks away from her. So she told our other TL and he says that no one should be on grocery side by themselves anyways and grabs someone that was doing go backs.

Again, trying to give him time to learn how everything works and be understanding to his situation. But he also seems to be on a power trip?
