So I basically got debarred at 73% because of ONE class attendance issue, even though attendance wasn’t marked for 2 classes that I had actually attended (15th and 25th). Peak engineering experience honestly 👍
For the 15th attendance, it got uploaded late. In between, faculty ratings also came, so I genuinely didn’t notice it then. Around 12–13 April, sir had asked if anyone needed attendance correction, but at that point my attendance was above 80%, so obviously I didn’t think there was any issue.
PS: I even took 2 days off in between because I thought I had enough attendance 😭
Now he’s blaming me saying I should’ve informed earlier.
Then comes 25th.
That day sir didn’t even come to class, and from the next day onwards he went on leave. Substitute faculty kept saying “he’ll come back, talk to him then,” so I waited instead of spamming mails immediately. When he still didn’t return, I mailed him on 28th, met HoD (she said only faculty can give attendance/do something), and even went to Dean office, but Dean wasn’t there.
And somehow… this entire situation became MY fault 💀
Now my faculty is upset saying the way I mailed wasn’t good and also saying that if he goes to Dean SCOPE asking to remove my debar status, he may get a memo, so he doesn’t want to help further. Meanwhile HoD told me that if faculty explains the situation properly, it can still be considered and no memo would be issued.
But no. Apparently easier option = blame student.
I even attended my other classes on 25th and have proof for those attendances too. Like why would I randomly skip ONLY this class 😭
I’ve literally been running around offices, mailing people, trying everything possible, and still got debarred over basically ONE attendance entry.
Associate dean somehow blamed me for whole education system, said that "You students have destroyed education system, go rate faculties online, select them in FFCS on the basis of that. This is a disease, you guys are disease"
So has anyone from SCOPE actually gotten permitted after debar? What happened in your case?
