I’m currently pursuing my MTech from one of the top 7 IITs, but I did my BTech from a local private college and also had 60% in 12th. Recently, my girlfriend (who is also doing mtech from same college) and I were talking about our BTech college experiences, and I told her about my 12th that how I really struggled back then due to undiagnosed ADHD which completely messed up my academic performance. I just didn’t study at that time and wrote my exams without any prior preparation.

She didn’t say anything and seemed a bit shocked. Later, she messaged me saying she’s breaking up with me because I’m not ambitious enough as I don’t have a good academic background.

I don’t know whether to feel sad or laugh, lol. I already have low self-esteem issues because of my 12th and college, and she just put salt on those wounds lol.

PS: She scored 93% and did engineering from VIT (AP). Just made this account to rant only.

So today was the big day. I walked into Room 320 CB fully prepared to write my exam and fail with dignity. But THEN I sat down and saw YOU. My soul left my body, did a backflip, and re-entered through my left ear.

You asked me for an extra pen and I physically forgot how hands work. I gave you my pen AND my backup pen and then proceeded to write the entire exam with a pencil like a medieval peasant. Worth it.

You were solving math like you were born doing integrals and I was just there having a religious experience every time you flipped a page. The way you tucked your hair behind your ear? I was ready to propose right there and then in front of the invigilator.

I wanted to talk to you after the exam but my legs decided to become jelly and my brain started playing Interstellar background music. By the time I gathered courage, you vanished.

PS - if you see this, I still have your pen. It's under my pillow now.

Okay so, when I go online and watch videos about vitap they're fine. And I see reels on Instagram about college fests and stuff but I come here on reddit and now I cannot find a single good thing about this college??? I thought the placements were fine???? And college life??? And uhm ARE THERE NO NORTHIES IN VIT AP??? Okay PLEASE help me out 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Is it worth joining or nOt??!?!?

even CAT 5 is great but could i get it?

I was booked for malpractice because something was written on my calculator cover, and she said it was some formula. The calculator was not mine, and I got it from lost and found, and also the formula is not related to my exam. Will anything happen to me, like sem back or subject back ??? Can someone give clarity?

So guys one of my friend got caught in cheating more like he had 2 equation written in hand, teacher saw it and he wrote the form what will happen exactly now is there any chance of save or its guareeted failure

Idk why, a lot of people keep saying only negative things about our uni and just hating in this sub-reddit, what the fuck is actually wrong with you all. I am not saying this is the best uni but a good one.

The management sucks yea, so does in every other uni. If we do not like the rules, it doesn't mean the whole uni sucks, just the rule may be bad.

We actually have a functional online ecosystem, most of the colleges and universities don't even have an online portal or even though they have it, they don't use it like we do. See SRM there is nothing but fee payment and timetable in their fuckass portal (I saw myself, logged in with friends credentials)

Bruh, we have FFCS nga you can choose your own timings, instead of planning your life around classes you can plan classes around your life, you can freelance, research, scroll reels or something..

if you compare VIT-AP with bits pilani, and iitm you will get disappointed and sad because you did not get your shit together in your 11th and 12th.

If this place is so 'unbearable,' why didn't you go to that 'developed' uni you keep talking about? Oh wait, because your rank or your marks didn't get you in there. You chose to be here because it was your best option. Stop hating on the place that’s literally giving you another chance, just because u sucked ass in your 12th you stupid fuck.

Idk what else to tell you man/women I fucking hate that fuckass new VC, the thing with the VCs and the fuckass rules is they change and they change pretty often if you yea 'you' try to change them instead of just feeling bad and crying about it all the time, take a deep breath and think about what I said.

I am seeking help about vit -ap as a girl thinking about joining from another state. I have doubts about placements, safety, fees ,worth going , experience, internship,fees and worth on investment. Please share your honest review.
