My big 8 inch gal is finally getting upgraded to the big stock tank she deserves!

Please give me all the tips, tricks, and recommendations. I know people use rubbermaid- any concerns about leakage through the drain hole? Any ideas on a custom topper to keep her from crawling out? Links to clips that attach to tank side for lighting (prefer not to drill into walls and hang lights since I rent). I have a suction cup dock, not sure if it will attach to the side well? How do I keep my dog away- do I put it on top of wood or bricks to elevate off the ground?

I have zero carpentry skills so no need to recommend the cool custom built wood boxes around the tank.
