Hello,

I’m a 49 year old female, I saw my Cardiologist today and my burden is 14%. Stress test and Echo came back normal. The plan is blood work, repeat holter and follow up in 3 months.

Meant to fly to Italy on Friday for a long planned vacation. I checked the insurance fine print and I’m not covered. I called and spoke to medical underwriting who explained because of the investigation, eg bloodwork, they won’t cover me at all.

I know I’m fit and healthy and the chance of having a heart attack is very slim but I’m still freaked out and scared about travelling without insurance.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thank you
