I've been a Gold Support main for years, getting winrates of 55-65% on my main champs. While getting much lower winrate on other champs that I'm also really good with.

I'm wondering why I seem to have HUGE impact on games with some champs, and almost none on other champs.

A few great examples:

• Nocturne Support: 42 games - 64% winrate - and lost a LOT of games because people just troll when they see my pick
• Malphite Support: 24 games - 58% winrate
• Sona: 15 games - 73% winrate

And then there's Lux - a champion I am really good with, my most played champion actually. Great KDA, almost always win lane with her, yet: 17% winrate over 12 games.

Same with Zyra, I'm really good with her, played her a ton, but: 50% winrate over 14 games.

I tried some Heca jungle - a champ I'm not good with: 8% winrate over 13 games??

Then I swapped to mid, a role I'm better at than jungle, but haven't played it that much. Playing a champ I'm not good with either, haven't played him for years but: Yone Mid - 69% winrate over 16 games - hard carrying most games.

Can someone explain how this works?

Why do I seem to have no impact on games with champions like Lux support - even though I destroy lane, go 10-0 some games and still lose.

When I play jungle I have like a 15% winrate, even though I outfarm and have better macro than the enemy jungle almost every game. I'm very bad at ganking, but I never feed and show up for objectives if my team reacts.

But then I play a champ I don't know mid and just end up destroying everyone on him AND having insane impact both by split pushing and in teamfights?

Nocturne is another great example, he shouldn't work as a support, but I just destroy games on him.

I'm way below my actual rank at the moment, because of all the jungle losses.

I want to understand why I seem to have huge impact on the games on some champs and almost non on other champs and roles.

I could easily play Soraka or Sona to Platinum, maybe higher, but the champs are so boring to play. Why does this game knowledge not transfer to jungle? Why does it transfer to some mid champs, but not all of them? - Like I pointed out earlier, it's not my skill level with the champs.

Ended up ranting quite a bit. I'm genuinely just trying to understand how I can have more impact on my games so I can get higher winrates.
