Anybody Else Notice a big increase in errors or am I just old and confused?
Is it that I didn't notice it before and now I am cranky, or is there a major increase in company errors causing us problems? I seem to spend a lot of time correcting other people's mistakes, that were in no way my fault that I can see. Just within the past month I have had an airline literally lose us from their system mid trip, so we had to fly stand by instead of getting our connecting flight, a bank error where they deposited my money to a strangers account then held my money during the correction for "2 to 3 business days" (!), a high end hotel with dirty linens, charged double on my credit card when eating out, alarm tags not removed from a purchase, and a host of other oddities I had to point out and spend my time and money correcting. Anybody else or am I just cursed lately? I'm thinking it is because greedy corporations are paying low wages while also reducing the numbers of workers and not training.
