My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year now and she wants us to move into an apartment together. I currently live at home where I don't pay rent and she lives in a home with several roommates where she does pay rent but not a lot for the area thankfully. She starts her graduate program in the fall and she wants to save money on rent by us moving in together and having my parents pay the rent as I am unable to with my current job. It's a mess I am also trying to get into grad school and am trying to find a better paying job but currently I have zero basis for paying for anything outside of dates and daily expenses but definitely not rent for an apartment by her school right now. I am madly in love with her and I see a future with her but outside the finances I'm also just not ready, I've always wanted to wait well over a year before making that move just because I'm really weird about my space and having my quiet alone time. To put further pressure on things she wants me out of my house by the 30th birthday in 2 months because she sees living at home by age 30 as being a loser and it's a deal breaker for her. I really don't want to lose her and I probably can get my parents to rent the apartment as I've moved out twice before and they helped with the rent but I'm just so confused and desperate because when I stated I wasn't ready to her she said we were done unless I changed my mind and went forward with moving in with her. Need advice please
