I’m in a weird situation. I’m on tray 5 of 39 of a complex treatment. With tray five I got my attachments, and was supposed to receive 6 buttons for elastics. After the attachments they said, “we were supposed to receive buttons today so we will have to reschedule.“
Fine, rescheduled two weeks later. An hour before the appointment the cancelled again for the same reason. Now they are saying the earliest is May 20th…with no guarantee that they will have buttons. They have other clinics, but all of them also don’t have buttons and they are “monitoring the situation closely”
Im at a loss for words. This whole situation seems absurd. I’ve paid thousands, waited weeks for the aligners, waited 4 weeks with the first set, three weeks with set 5, and am expected to wait another month. This whole time they’ve never had buttons apparently.
I have no idea what to do. I’m Worried that set five is losing its integrity to hold my teeth in place.
