I made the mistake of trusting the otherwise good stuff on pcpartpick and now I'm in a pickle.

I am building my new primary workstation / gaming rig. Most of the parts have shown up.

As you can see in the post title. I got an Asus ProArt x870E creator motherboard.. I made sure that the spacing would work to put the 5060TI in the top slot and then the plan was to let the 5090 go in the slot2. I also have four NVME drives I had planned to put onto the MB. Fractal Define 7 XL case.

Needless to say that is now blown up for a few reasons. 1. The 5090 actually covers the headers on the Motherboard when in slot 2, no idea why I didn't think of that but I didn't so there is no chance it can directly live in that slot. 2. Slot 1, Slot 2 and the M2.2 all share a lane, I was prepared to accept the x8, x8, but if I use that fourth slot then I'll be dropping to x8, x4,x4 which is not okay..

so now I'm thinking maybe what I do is this..

5090 in top slot and use some sort of low profile riser to move slot 2 to "elsewhere" and mount the 5060 there somehow.

and then use a hypercard I have to put a single nvme using slot3 which will be accessible and that leaves all my headers accessible too.

I guess I'm looking for any other ideas and for the right low profile riser that should consider, or maybe I need to Riser both cards because I really think the clearance under the 5090 over slot 2 will be minimal.

If I riser both of them how do I get them mounted, It's almost like I'd want some other kind of extended to move the display ports back the back of the pc as well.

All that to say, anyone have ideas or have seen a two GPU (at least one is a 5090) setup in something like this scenario?
