Anyone found any tricks / workarounds to make the design of a dashboard just... better?

I'm making a client facing dashboard and it's just so boring lol. I wish I could change the background color of the different cards (not just highlight the text) and have dividers / borders etc.

Anyone found any cool ways to make them more unique?
