Hey everybody, 27m here and I had symptoms going on since late February and was tested positive in late march for ureaplasma. Everything else came back negative for every other std/bacterial infection at the time. I did a full 14 day cycle of doxycycline followed by a 4-5 day course of azithromycin. Shortly afterwards the labs/culture came back and said I had a heavy growth of the bacteria staphylococcus haemolyticus (labs were sent off so took a while to culture it and get results back). The doctor prescribed me with Sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim to treat it since that’s what the bacteria wasn’t resistant to. I’m about a 2 weeks off of antibiotics and I still have meatitis and urethritis going on. Luckily haven’t seen any discharge or dysuria but I have still have inflammation at the tip and the lips look swollen/puffy with occasional discomfort of the urethra (not common). At this point I’ve done a ton of antibiotics and I can’t seem to get it to clear up. I have a urologist appointment on the 11th to try to get additional information but unsure what to do at this point. Should I go back and get a full std test again with swab? Or just wait to see if it goes away? Any help would be appreciated!

**I’ve also taken every step to make sure it’s not irritation I.e no sex, wash only with water, no soaps etc
