So apparently if you block any countries in your Shopify store, Google penalize your Merchant Center account or drops your Shopping eligibility. That means you have to stay open to everyone - even rogue states knowing for hacking. Ssites are getting hammered by rogue bots that are indexing/trying to hack the sites all day long. Another person said it's like Google Merchant Center pressures us to make our sites vulnerable while taking zero responsibility for the security exposure that creates.
Anyone else dealing with this? Might you have a recommendation re: apps or strategies that block/fight bot traffic without triggering Google's geo-restriction flags?
